Boat Cat on the Puget Sound

The long, golden rays of late-autumn sun pulled us down to the docks of nearby Lakebay marina one recent afternoon. Which is where we met this swashbuckling boat cat and saw some pretty gorgeous Puget Sound scenery.

His name is Ishmael, which seems appropriate for a feline who lives on a boat. (This wasn’t his boat. He was just visiting. He actually lives on a sailboat a pier over, and came into harbor for a few days.)

The water is so clear… No sea stars here though…

This boat is really cool!

Up on shore, there were all sorts of fun abandoned cabins…

Water. Sunshine. The outdoors. This is one happy boy.

What a view for dogs! (and not bad for ladies, either)
