We are busy harvesting potatoes now! This is just a quick update, because we’re excited about our newest vegetable!
Half the fun (or more!) of potatoes, is the digging around with your hands in the dirt, finding what new surprises lie in wait. It’s a moment of delight when you excavate another edible treasure. We’re making these into a summer squash, potato and swiss chard gratin that Julia Child would be proud of. Stay tuned!
We planted these back in April, and were curious to see how our plastic planting tubs would work. They were okay, but we’re going to just grow the potatoes straight in the ground next year.
