This flourless chocolate cake is rich, chocolatey, easy to make, and of course – tastes even better hot out of the oven and topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. We got the recipe from Edible Community’s iPad app. It’s a beautiful app, and this release of recipes are all tailored for winter dining.
Start melting 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (a bag) over low heat. Preheat the oven to 350.
Mix a can of garbanzo beans and 4 eggs in a food processor until smooth. Add tsp vanilla extract, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 tsp baking powder and pulse until they’re incorporated. Pour in the melted chocolate chips and blend until smooth.
Pour the mix into a floured and greased 9″ cake pan. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
