Easy Flourless Chocolate Cake

This flourless chocolate cake is rich, chocolatey, easy to make, and of course – tastes even better hot out of the oven and topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. We got the recipe from Edible Community’s iPad app. It’s a beautiful app, and this release of recipes are all tailored for winter dining.

  1. Hold the phone: a chickpea chocolate cake? Too awesome for words. I put chickpeas in everything. I am way too excited for them to venture into my baking exploits as well …

  2. This just came out of the oven — having friends over tonight and so excited to try it out! Smells great. I didn’t have a full 3/4 c of sugar so I melted in some Nutella with the semisweet chocolate chips for sweetness. Hope it turns out! Thanks for the recipe – I’m gluten-free and always looking for new things to try, especially with zero flour.

  3. It took me a while, but I just made this cake. It’s a perfect Passover recipe as it has no leaven in it. I made it (didn’t tell my kids what it’s made from) and they loved it! I will also pass on this recipe to my gluten-free friends.
