Watermelon Vodka Drink!

Dry Fly Vodka Watermelon Drink

Dry Fly is distilled here in Washington, and it’s amazing. The watermelon was grown in Hermiston, Oregon, and it’s pretty dang good, too.

Squeeze 1/4 lime into a glass, along with some of the lime pulp. Add a shot of simple syrup* and a shot of vodka. Muddle watermelon in a separate glass and pour a shot’s worth of watermelon juice – along with some of the watermelon pulp – into the vodka glass. Add ice and stir. Garnish with a long slice of watermelon for dipping and stirring.

*Simple syrup is simple to make! Mix equal parts sugar and water on the stovetop, heated up until the mixture is clear. Then let it cool. Voila!

Having a garden party? Complement your summer theme with a peach margarita or a white wine and ginger beer cocktail and squash blossom and goat cheese appetizers.
